Course previews for 2015 Race

Sunday, July 5th, 2015 [Sun Top side - 2nd Half of WR50]
For those who enjoy great scenery or are getting ready for The White River 50 mile race. We will be running the Sun Top loop (Loop 2 of WR50 race). About 4,000 feet of elevation gain over 22.8 miles. Plan on being gone most of the day. Eric Sach (4x finisher of WR50), owner of The Balanced Athlete will lead this run. Meet at The Balanced Athlete at 7 AM to arrange car pools. Some may want to make arrangements to meet and depart from Fleet Feet Sports Seattle at 7 AM. We should arrive at Skookum Flats trail head about 8:45 AM. Be ready to run by 9 AM. Plan on bringing Iodine or water filter. 800-1,200 calories. Could be some snow on top. Depending on weather, hat, gloves and light jacket /shell would be important to carry. For those who enjoy great scenery or are getting ready for The White River 50 mile race. We will be running the Coral Pass loop (Loop 1 of WR50 race). About 4,000 feet of elevation gain over 27.2 miles. Plan on being gone most of the day. Eric Sach (4x finisher of WR50), owner of The Balanced Athlete will lead this run. Meet at The Balanced Athlete at 7 AM to arrange car pools. Some may want to make arrangements to meet and depart from Fleet Feet Sports Seattle at 7 AM. We should arrive at White River Buck Creek trail head about 8:45 AM. Be ready to run by 9 AM. Plan on bringing Iodine or water filter. 800-1,200 calories. Could be some snow on top. Depending on weather, hat, gloves and light jacket /shell would be important to carry. For more details contact Eric Sach at the Balanced Athlete.
