The application process for the 2026 SRC-Brooks team is now open and all members are encouraged to apply! All the information you need to apply for our 2026 SRC-Brooks team is provided below. When: applications are due Friday, November 21 – you must be a current member as of this date to be considered.
What: A spot on the SRC-Brooks Team is an incredible opportunity to be part of a sponsored team representing Seattle Running Club and Brooks Running. The team is comprised of up to10 current Seattle Running Club members – men, women, and non-binary – who exemplify a commitment to MUT (mountain, ultra, trail) running and racing, volunteering, and leadership within the local running community and the Seattle Running Club, are actively engaged with the Club, as well as being positive ambassadors for the Club and Brooks.
Please apply if:
- You compete, with a focus on mountain, ultra, and/or trail racing.
- You enjoy and commit to giving back to the local running community by volunteering at SRC trail work parties and races and Brooks events.
- You like communicating about your training/racing/volunteering experiences via social media.
- You will make a point to train with your fellow members at SRC-related training opportunities and be actively engaged with the Club.
If selected, you will receive the following benefits:
- Brooks Apparel (up to 8 items)
- Brooks Shoes (up to 6 pair)
- Discounts on items on the Brooks website
- Invitations/access to special events
- Free race entries to SRC events (Cougar and Bridle Trails races) and others (TBA)
Team members are expected to:
- Show brand exclusivity, particularly at races (including the SRC “brand”)
- Volunteer at SRC races, trail work parties, etc., and Brooks events for a minimum of fifteen (15) total hours per year
- Be actively engaged in the SRC community via consistent participation in the Club’s group runs, member events, etc.
- Commit to attending at least 8 monthly team runs per year
- Regularly post (at least twice a month) to social media about training, racing, and/or volunteering
- Be an ambassador within their local running community
- Submit twice-yearly race/volunteer reports
Team members will be required to sign and adhere to a contract. If you don’t believe you can meet the requirements of the contract, please do not apply. Team membership will last one year. Members must reapply each year.
Applicants will be assessed based, in part, on the following criteria:
- Racing achievement (past and projected), with a focus on MUT races
- Frequency and visibility of racing
- Service to the club (past and projected)
- Active participation in Club events, runs, etc.
- General outreach in the running community
