6:30PM, various locations. We do group workouts, with all paces welcome, led by Trisha & Uli Steidl. From January to August we can be found at a variety of locations including the Garfield High School track, nearby hills, along Lake Washington, or on the Chief Sealth trail. From September to December the focus is on cross country with workouts at various locations in central Seattle; but you don’t need to race cross country to join the workouts. Specifically for active club members, but anyone is invited to try out a first workout before joining the club. Please note that the workouts are a no-spitting, no snot rocket zone for everyone’s health and sanitary reasons – thanks!
Sunday trail run
8:00 AM, rotating locations. On Sundays, we head for the trails in the Issaquah Alps and beyond. Runs are usually 8 – 10 miles and ~3000 feet of climbing, with options to go longer or shorter.
Check the calendar on the front page for the final word on where and when we are running. In general we follow the schedule below:
Tuesday hill repeats
6:00 AM, Squak Mountain State Park May Valley Trailhead. The workout varies week-to-week depending on interest but usually includes a warmup on the trails followed by uphill repeats on the Squak Mountain access road. Bring a Discover Pass to park, and a headlamp in the fall, winter, and early spring.
