That’s right, Fat Glass is back!
What is Fat Glass? Think of it as a crazy remix of the Bridle Trails 50k, but during the day, with better weather, and with a beer to drink before each lap, beer-mile style!
This race course is six laps of a ~5.2 mile loop (31+ miles total) through Bridle Trails State Park. Racers will down a cup of Flying Lion beer before starting each loop.
Non-drinkers are absolutely invited to participate with a (preferably carbonated) drink of your choice; we’ll keep separate drinking and non-drinking categories. You’re also welcome to start in the drinking category and switch to non-drinking part way through.
DNFs are encouraged! Run as many laps as you want, then stick around to cheer on the other runners, eat potluck snacks, and maybe drink more beer from the keg!
This is a free ultra fun-run (fun ultra-run!) for SRC members only – and a great reason to renew your membership.
Parking? Limited on-street parking will be available near the start; be sure not to block any driveways! Better yet, please carpool, or take Sound Transit Link #2 line to Redmond Technology station and enjoy a 1.3 mile warm-up run to the start!
